How can Sawa help my masjid?

As means of communication become increasingly digital, Sawa will allow you to receive digital donations and connect with all masjid attendees to keep them informed on prayer times and announcements that may be relevant. Founded by three Muslim doctors, Sawa is a trusted source to facilitate this.

My masjid is not listed. Can I still register?

Yes you can! Please submit your details via the ‘contact us’ form.

Does Sawa charge for its service?

Sawa is free to use for both masjids and attendees. Sawa will assign control of your masjid profile to trustees after they have registered via the app.

How will Sawa increase donations towards my masjid?

Sawa will enable those who prefer to use digital methods of payment to pay via its app Sawa Global. It will allow your masjid to make an account with Square (payment provider) giving your community the ability to donate using Apple and GooglePay whilst allowing you to claim up to 25% in Gift Aid.

How do attendees receive notifications?

Attendees who have downloaded Sawa and selected a masjid can receive notifications sent by the masjid via our platform. This can be customised message(s) or selected from our templates via our Masjid Management feature.
